I did an internship at an Edwardsville law firm called Sivia Law. During my time, I worked under their marketing specialist and had many different roles. Perhaps one of the more interesting challenges I faced was the request to use only six prechosen colors for graphic content. Knowing this, I tried to use pictures and gradients to add more depth to designs. I have really enjoyed my experience with Sivia!
Graphic Design Work
With the exception of the “our services” image in the first slide, all of these graphics are meant to accompany the blogs that were written for the Sivia Law website. All of these graphics are my work, though some of the blogs they were based off of were not my writing. Everything here was made with the firm’s Canva account.
Instagram Reels
I was given the task to start uploading Instagram reels content for Sivia. While I did not record or edit the lawyer videos in the reel, I did use these videos and edit the content around them. The content in these Reels and videos also reflects blog content on the Sivia website. This includes a “Spring Cleaning” campaign I created as well, though they have not been shared yet. Everything was edited within Canva as well.
About Me
Initially, I started music production in high school which instilled a passion for audio in me. I quickly realized that being a music producer required proper marketing if I wanted to see success, so I began to explore photography, graphic design, and social media networking to establish myself in the music scene. While my production has garnered hundreds of thousands of streams across different platforms, I realized my true passion was design. I found delight in combining writing with captivating design just as I learned to do with combining drums and melodies in making music.
Notable Achievements:
- Graduated magna cum laude with a 3.97 GPA from SIUE
- Produced music for artist Alaina Castillo amassing over half a million views on YouTube
- Designed and branded a file storage and music player app called Rewind along with detailed case study and research for development
- Budgeted and built a podcast setup for a local law firm and eventually produced and edited material
